Free BaZi calculator — your Four Pillars of Destiny chart

Enter your birth date and read your BaZi chart in seconds — the Chinese Four Pillars of Destiny, known in Korea as Saju. No sign-up, no payment. You get your Day Master, your five-element balance, and a short reading for the day you are actually in.

What a BaZi chart is

BaZi means “eight characters.” Your birth moment is written as four pillars — year, month, day, and hour — and each pillar has a heavenly stem and an earthly branch. That is eight characters in total, built from five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) in their yin and yang forms. The chart is not a prediction; it is a description of tendencies — where your energy naturally leans, and where it runs thin.

What this calculator gives you

Saju, BaZi, Four Pillars — same thing

If you have searched “Saju,” “BaZi,” and “Four Pillars of Destiny” and wondered whether they differ: they do not. They are three names — Korean, Chinese, English — for one system that reads the same four pillars from the same birth moment. This calculator uses the Korean Saju reading tradition, but the chart it builds is the BaZi chart you would expect.

No score, no fixed fate

You will not get a number out of 100 or a sealed prediction here. A chart shows leanings and possibilities, not a verdict — “tends toward,” not “will.” The same Day Master lives very differently depending on the rest of the chart and the season of life you are in.

Common questions

Is the BaZi calculator free?

Yes, completely. There is no sign-up, no login, and no payment. You enter a birth date and get your chart immediately.

What do I need to enter?

Your birth date, and your birth time if you know it. Time sharpens the reading, but the calculator still works without it — it just leans on the day, month and year pillars.

What is a Day Master?

The Day Master is the heavenly stem of your day of birth — the single element that represents “you” in the chart. It is the anchor everything else in your BaZi is read against.

Is BaZi the same as Saju?

Yes. Saju is the Korean name for the same system China calls BaZi and the West calls the Four Pillars of Destiny. Same four pillars (year, month, day, hour), same ten stems and twelve branches.

Does my birth date get stored?

No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is saved to an account — there are no accounts. What a chat partner can later see is a derived reading, never your raw birth date.
